Your discount also includes waivers on two fees JetBlue normally charges the general public:

First, you are eligible for two bag waivers on all JetBlue-operated flights in the U.S. and throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. The two free bags savings typically amounts to $170 per round trip ticket in addition to your 5% OFF fare savings.

Second, JetBlue will also waive its $25 service fee for phone bookings each time you call JetBlue to book your travel.

Details of the Offer

You save 5% on all JetBlue fares when you book with JetBlue by toll-free phone at 1-800-JETBLUE (1-800-538-2583).
You save 5% on MINT Premium Travel, with fully lie-flat seats and artisanal dining options, which is available on select coast-to-coast and Caribbean routes.
When making your phone reservation, always request the two free bags on all flights. This gives up to $85 in savings per flight or roughly $170 round trip per passenger. You can change your mind later if you decide to take fewer bags, but you cannot add the free bags at the airport unless you are active duty with proper documentation. Your request for 2 free bags must be made when you make your reservation.
JetBlue will also waive its $25 service fee each time you call to book your discounted travel.
There are no restrictions on the number of JetBlue tickets you can save on annually or blackout dates, so you can get your savings for holiday travel!
You are eligible to earn TrueBlue points on your WeSalute+ discounted flights.

Terms & Conditions

WeSalute members will receive a 5% discount off the base fare for all JetBlue-operated itineraries, including MINT, booked by JetBlue toll-free reservations. Discount and bag waiver can only be applied at the time of booking and is not available retroactively. WeSalute ticket designator is VETS, and must indicate the two free bags allowable with each passenger booking to be permitted free check-in at the terminal.

To qualify, each Customer on the reservation must be a member in good standing with WeSalute at the time of booking. To book a flight with the discount, WeSalute+ subscribers must call 1-800-JET-BLUE (1-800-538-2583). Discount and bag waiver is not available for online bookings, in terminals or any other reservation method. Discount and bag waiver is valid on base fare for JetBlue flights only and is not valid in connection with JetBlue Vacations packages, TrueBlue award flights, flights on partner airlines, baggage or other fees, surcharges, taxes, or any other products or services. Discount cannot be combined with other offers or discounts, is not applicable to special Military (MIL) fares, cannot be partially redeemed, has no cash value, is not redeemable for cash, and is non-transferable.
