Helping the Military and Veteran Community
Why are we so passionate about serving the Greater Military Community?
WeSalute (founded as Veterans Advantage) can never do enough to recognize and honor the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans and military, and their families.
We are always working our hardest to advocate for our military, veterans, and families by creating new discounts and benefits to thank those in our community who have served. We also give back through charitable activities and advocacy work.
Since the company was founded in 2000, Scott and Lin Higgins, our co-founders, have devoted significant resources towards charitable event sponsorships, gifts of WeSalute+ for wounded vets and Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients, helping government entities and major veterans service organizations honor veterans, and involvement in other important veterans initiatives like protecting veterans privacy.
When you subscribe to WeSalute+ or join our Partner Coalition, your support helps us sponsor these meaningful activities.

It was January 31st, 1968. 4am. That’s when the shelling began. I was stationed at the III Corps HQ near Saigon. Of the 4 Corps of the Army of South Vietnam, III Corps had the most Americans. I was 22 at the time, ranked 2nd Lieutenant supply officer, and at the time, I had been in Vietnam for 3 months.Military & Veterans News
