Military & Veterans News VA Waives Life Insurance Premiums to Save Veterans Nearly $150 Million The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has announced a three-month premium holiday for the Veterans’ Group Life Insurance (VGLI) program. The temporary waiver will suspend insurance payments from November 2026 through January 2027, delivering an estimated $150 million in collective financial relief to participating veterans across the country.
