With an eye on the calendar, the National Guard celebrated 387 years of service this past Wednesday. As the oldest and one of the largest military branches with both state and federal responsibilities, the National Guard holds a vital role in defending our freedoms.

We salute and thank our citizen soldiers, the National Guard men and women and their families, for their service to our communities and our country!
